AUXILIARY, off-pipeline helper (not part of the main harness) — optionally renders image-prompts.md / storyboard.md grids or stacks into actual PNGs by calling the OpenAI image API (gpt-image-2), saving to a project images folder. Use only when someone explicitly wants the API path and has OPENAI_API_KEY. For Codex built-in image_gen start/end keyframes for video production, use film-keyframe-imagegen instead.
