Researches the codebase for prior art, reusable utilities, and constraints, generates two to four genuinely distinct technical approaches to an agreed spec.md, compares them in a table of architecture fit, risk, effort, and reversibility with a clear recommendation, and writes the approach the user picks, the rejected alternatives, and the consequences into the Approach section of spec.md, plus a decision record when the choice is consequential.
