`hypothesis` (David MacIver, HypothesisWorks) is the de facto property-based testing library for Python. Instead of writing specific examples, you write PROPERTIES (invariants) and let hypothesis generate inputs to disprove them. When it finds a failure, it SHRINKS the input to a minimal counterexample.
