Rules and the auto reply belong to one mailbox. A **rule** looks at mail as it arrives and moves it, labels it, marks it read, stars it or sends it to Spam. The **auto reply** answers people who write to the mailbox while its person is away. Both run on the server after a message is filed in the Inbox, and neither can block or lose a delivery. Both exist only where the module `everjust_mail_rules` is installed and the flag `mail.rules` is on for the company, so call `mail_features` before offering either.
