Convert raw potency measurements into the log-scale activity column every SAR and QSAR method requires. Unit conversion (pM through M, plus mass/volume given a molecular weight) to pIC50/pKi/pEC50, censored ">" and "<" values handled as bounds rather than measurements, assay-type filtering so IC50 is never pooled with Ki or EC50, replicate aggregation on the log scale, and a distribution sanity check.
