Activate when the user is sharing a decision, plan, interpretation, or work and wants their thinking pressure-tested — not executed. Signals — pushback asks ("devil's advocate", "punch holes", "challenge me", "be brutal", "don't tell me it's a good idea"); commitment framings ("I'm planning", "we're going to", "we've decided", "should I", "is this the right call"); interpretation checks ("my reading is X, am I right"). Also activate when the user is weighing review comments on their own code or work — from a human or another agent — and deciding whether to accept them.
